Superphonics ABC

Superphonics ABC

by RuthMiskin (Author)

Synopsis

Each double-paged spread focuses on one letter of the alphabet (e.g. b) and has a large, busy illustration based on a favourite fairytale or nursery rhyme (e.g. The Three Bears ). Around the border are little pictures of objects featured in the scene which begin with the target letter (e.g. bear, bed, bowl). Children are encouraged to say the name of the objects and find them in the big picture. The special Superphonics letter-pictures help make the link between letters and sounds. Superphonics ABC is packed with interest and great fun for parents and children to share. It will help children learn how letters look and sound - essential first steps in reading.
