Damien Owens was born in Monaghan in 1971 and studied English at Queen's University, Belfast. He has contributed to several Irish magazines, been a freelance comedy reviewer in Australia, and worked as a copywriter. He is now a technical writer in Dublin. Dead Cat Bounce is his first novel.
