Author Bio
Monica Furlong has written a prize winning biography of the Trappist monk, Thomas Merton, as well as biographies of Alan Watts and Therese of Lisieux. Her more recent publications include a book about Aboriginal spirituality, The Flight of the Kingfisher, and an anthology of women's poems and prayers, Love Unknown. Her novel Wisechild was shortlisted for the Guardian Children's Book Award and nominated by the Librarians' Association of America on their list of recommended books, as were her two subsequent children's books, Juniper and Robin's Country. Cherry Denman trained at the Ruskin School of Drawing in Oxford and the Royal College of Art. She has illustrated a number of books including The Little Green Book, A Modern Book of Hours and The History Puzzle. She lives in London and has two children, Freddie and Barnaby.
