Author Bio
Bill Thompson has created Websites for Comic Relief and The Guardian. He also writes about the Internet for newspapers and magazines. He is the technology correspondent for Radio 5's Big Byte and appears regularly on Radio 4 and World Service programmes. He has worked in IT as a programmer, consultant and trainer. He was founder director of the Guardian's electronic publishing, and a member of the Labour Party Policy Commission on the Internet.
