Jake In Danger: 21 (Story Book)

by Annette Butterworth (Author)

Synopsis

There's a new dog in the park - Boris, the Irish wolfhound from Canada, and all he does is boast about his many adventures abroad. Jake's nose is severely out of joint. Then an injured gosling is found by the lakeside, followed shortly afterwards by a dead swan.. Jake is convinced that Boris is the culprit. But foolish Jake gets a little too inquisitive, and ends up with blood from the dead swan on his nose - now it is Jake who's the prime suspect. If Jake can't prove his innocence he faces grave danger - he could be put down! To Jake's surprise, it is Boris and the rest of the dogs who rally round to help him and in the end, the true villain is revealed. Based on the Butterworths' real dog, Jake will appeal to all children who enjoy Paddington Bear.
