Author Bio

Kathryn Cave is an established author of children's books. She was shortlisted for the Smarties and Kate Greenaway Award in 1994 for 'Something Else'. She studied Philosophy at Oxford and has lived the US and Australia. She has devoted most of her working life to writing. She is married with three children.

Nick Maland was shortlisted for the Mother Goose Award in 1996 for Welcome Night and the Children's Book Award in 1998 for Brave Whale. He has a daughter and a son.
