Billy Bayswater

by NigelWatts (Author)

Synopsis

This movingly depicts the interior life of a simpleton whose thoughts revolve purposelessly and who never learns from experience. It is a painful account of how cruel London can be to its gentlest, weakest citizens, those who live on the margins of society. There is a good deal of humour and charm in the story, but also a political message, all the more powerful for never being overtly stated.
