Author Bio
David Clark is Professor of Medical Sociology within the Academic Palliative Medicine Unit of the University of Sheffield and has been involved in research and teaching pallliative care since 1989. He is the editor of the Facing Death series for Open University Press. Michael Wright is a Research Fellow in the Academic Palliative Medicine Unit of the University of Sheffield and a former chaplain of the Doncaster Royal Infirmary. His interests lie in the history of hospices and in the spiritual dimensions of healthcare.
