EWAN MCKENDRICK is Professor of English Law at University College London. He has also taught at the Universities of Central Lancashire and Essex, the London School of Economics and Oxford. He is the author of a number of articles on the subject of commercial law, contract law and tort, and is editor of Chitty On Contracts.
