Author Bio
LIZ STEEL is Head of Humanities and Social Science at Halifax New College and has long-standing experience as a Senior Examiner for the Associated Examining Board. She has taught sociology and psychology at both school and undergraduate level and has played a significant role in the development of the new post-2000 A/AS level syllabus. WARREN KIDD is an experienced teacher of Sociology and is Head of Sociology at Highsted School in Kent. He is a vice-president of the Association for the Teaching of the Social Sciences (ATSS) and the author of Culture and Identity (forthcoming in the Skills-Based Sociology series).
