  Skills Update 4 is the fourth collection of articles from the popular series which first appeared in Community Outlook (now Community Nurse). It aims to update qualified nurses in skills they use in everyday practice as well as provide an overview of some more specialised skills that require personal tuition. Although some topics covered may appear quite basic, experienced nurses find them an excellent aid for reflecting on, and improving, their practice.
