Author Bio
Timothy Knapman's first book for Macmillan was LITTLE OGRE'S SURPRISE SUPPER (978-0-2307-1270-6), illustrated by Ben Cort and the topsy-turvy pop-up book FANTASTICAL FLYING MACHINES (978-0-230-71339-0) illustrated by Simon Wild. He is also the author of the popular MUNGO series, illustrated by Adam Stower and GUESS WHAT I FOUND IN DRAGON WOOD, illustrated by Gwen Millward (Puffin). Also a playwright, Tim's work on various musicals, operas and plays has taken him all over the world. Timothy lives in Surrey. David Walker has been drawing and painting all of his life. He graduated from the University of Kansas and was Art Director at Hallmark cards in Kansas City before starting his own business. He now works on a variety of illustration projects, from children's books and greetings cards to fabric and scrapbook supplies, and all from his studio in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. David's life is a tangle of dogs, cats and kids, and his art is inspired by all the wonderful chaos that comes with them.
