Author Bio
Carol Ann Duffy is one of Britain's foremost and highly acclaimed contemporary poets. She has written several collections of poetry and edited anthologies for both children and adults. Her last children's collection, The Oldest Girl in the World, received the Signal Poetry Award, as did her anthology for younger readers, Stopping for Death. She has a recent adult collection out called Feminine Gospels, published by Picador. She lives in Manchester and has a seven-year-old daughter.
