Author Bio
Lynda La Plante was born in Liverpool. She became a household name after the phenomenally successful tv series 'Widows' in the mid-80s, followed by the award-winning 'Prime Suspect' in the 90s and, now, the equally successful 'Trial and Retribution' series. This is her ninth novel. Her previous novels, the most recent of which is Sleeping Cruelty, have all been bestsellers. She has also won numerous awards for her writing, including the Bafta Dennis Potter Writers Award.
