Author Bio
For decades, Kathleen Peyton has been a much-loved and respected writer for children. She grew up in London but now lives in the countryside of Essex, where she keeps horses - the subject of some of her most famous novels. Her ambition on leaving school was to become a painter, and she studied at Kingston Art School and at Manchester Art School.
