Media Reviews
This innovative, wide-ranging and stimulating textbook makes a valuable and distinctive contribution to the understanding and teaching of leadership issues. It is likely to become essential reading for many courses on leadership. Skilfully mixing theory and practice, the authors lead students through the burgeoning literature whilst drawing on extensive examples to illustrate their points, backed up with state of the art teaching technologies. The authors also go much further by developing their own 'tri-axis model ' of context, leaders and followers and by examining key questions like power, gender, language, communication and team-working; issues frequently neglected in many leadership texts. This is a very thought-provoking and thorough review of organizational leadership --I can highly recommend it!
