Flashcards of My Life

Flashcards of My Life

by Charise Mericle Harper (Author)

Synopsis

Emily is pretty sure her life couldn't be any more complicated. Her friends get along like tuna fish salad with ice cream, her mom keeps baking desserts with nuts (a tedious diet strategy), her best friend Sandra is worryingly secretive and she's stranded on Crush Island without a lifeboat. When Emily receives an unexpected birthday gift, a pack of note cards labelled Flashcards of My Life, she uses them for inspiration to try to untangle her increasingly knotted life. With lots of imagination, a good dose of humour, a dash of hysteria and a mounting store of wisdom, Emily finds that she might be able to brave growing up after all.
