Author Bio
SinhaRaja-Delgoda is from the old Sinhalese capital of Kandy, high in the central highlands of Sri Lanka. He is a historian who has studied the history of British India and he has published articles in various countries on both India and Sri Lanka. He has an MA in Medieval Literature and Society and he completed his PhD in 1991 He is also a fellow of the Royal Asiatic Society.
