Dylan Thomas's Wales

Dylan Thomas's Wales

by Hilary Laurie (Author), Kathy deWitt (Author)

Synopsis

In his verse, Dylan Thomas returned time and again to Wales, particularly the area around Laugharne. It was the topography and character of the town that gave rise to his most famous verse play, Under Milk Wood . Armed with Thomas's memoirs, verse and sketches, Hilary Laurie revisits his haunts and together with specially taken photographs has created a strong evocation of both the poet and his sense of place.
