Slipstreams for Healing Souls

Slipstreams for Healing Souls

by RuthScott (Author)

Synopsis

There are many reasons why people hurt and spiritually. With the aid of numerous vivid illustrations drawn from contemporary life, this book focuses in turn on some of the main types of pain we experience. Each chapter draws on a relevant healing story from the Bible to show how the one hurting found restoration in the response of Jesus, and goes on to suggest how we ourselves may be able to provide an appropriate kind of 'sheltered space' for those we know struggling with difficulty, by recognising their specific needs and responding to them with patience and love.
