Arnold Kling founded Homefair.com, one of the first commercial sites on the Web. This profitable business eventually was sold for $85 million. Kling is a teacher, scholar, and author. He holds a PhD in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. These days, he spends his time writing, advising start-up companies, and volunteer teaching in high school. He lives in Silver Spring, Maryland.
