  This text reasserts an understanding of and belief in an obejective God. At a time when post-modern assumptions are being made which challenge the integrity of a real God, this text offers the opportunity to explore new ways of thinking about God's relations to the world whilst avoiding more traditional images which often carry oppressive connotations.
