Author Bio
Emily Gravett is a graduate of Brighton University and the winner of the 2004 Macmillan Prize for Illustration. A former traveller, Emily has now settled in Brighton with her partner and their young daughter. Her first picture book, the inimitable WOLVES (978-1-4050-5362-4) was published by Macmillan in 2005 to great acclaim, winning the Kate Greenaway Medal and the Nestle Children's Book Prize Bronze Award. Emily has since written and illustrated four further picture books, ORANGE PEAR APPLE BEAR (978-1-4050-9022-3, shortlisted for the Kate Greenaway Medal), MEERKAT MAIL (978-1-4050-9075-9), MONKEY AND ME (978 0 2300 1583 8) and LITTLE MOUSE'S BIG BOOK OF FEARS (978-1-4050-8948-7).
