Key Concepts in Law (Palgrave Key Concepts)

Key Concepts in Law (Palgrave Key Concepts)

by IanMcLeod (Author)

Synopsis

Legal terminology need not be intimidating, difficult and obscure. This book provides an ideal introduction to the meaning of the core vocabulary which confronts anyone approaching the study of Law for the first time. By concentrating on the subjects which the legal profession has designated as the foundations of legal knowledge, the book manages to be short enough to be accessible while being long enough to be genuinely useful. A particular feature is its explanation of how Latin words and phrases should be pronounced, as well as what they mean.

It is comprehensive, accessible and is written in a font that is easy and quick to read and is a very welcome addition to this crowded market.
