  This is a hands-on resource for confirmation courses in every Catholic parish. It contains everything the catechist needs for every session, including photocopiable invitations, games and prayers. It involves parents, parish and schools and should be an invaluable tool for the new catechist in need of practical help and confidence. The confirmation course was developed by the diocese of Leeds RE Centre and piloted in the diocese. It contains material for the confirmation of young people aged 10-14, in an introductory session and eight meetings. Each unit begins with a statement of the aims of the unit, an outline, a list of suggested material, hints on preparation and worksheets. The course should provide a thorough introduction to the Church's teaching.
