Book Overview: Director 6 Demystified uses a distinctive, friendly-yet-authoritative style to de-intimidate, then educate. The concepts behind the programming are thoroughly fleshed out and the exercises are geared toward putting the concepts into practice as clearly as possible. Now Director 6 Demystified is a Macromedia Press title--and the only Director book to receive the official endorsement and cooperation of Macromedia, Inc. The technology is covered in three distinct sections: Book One: Director Essentials covers the mechanics on animation and basic interactivity. Book Two: The World of Lingo, is an in-depth guide to Director's unique scripting language. Book Three: The World of Shockwave shows how to mesh Director with HTML and Java to bring multimedia to the Internet.
