Author Bio

Antje Wiener is a Professor of Political Science at the School of Politics and International Studies Queen's University of Belfast and is the convenor of the MA on European and Global Governance. Before coming to Queen's she was an assistant professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Hanover, Germany, where she was also a co-founder of the MA in European Integration/Studies. She held fellowships at Stanford University, the European University Institute, Florence, the Sussex European Institute and the Hanse Institute for Advanced Studies, Germany.
Thomas Diez is Senior Lecturer in International Relations Theory at the University of Birmingham.
