Author Bio

Derek French has worked as a freelance editor and writer in business and legal publishing for over 20 years. He is editor of Blackstone's Civil Practice and Blackstone's Statutes on Company Law both published by OUP. Stephen Mayson is Director of the Centre for Law Firm Management at Nottingham Law School and Senior Fellow of the Law School at The University of Melbourne. Christopher Ryan is Professor of Law and Head of Department at City University. He was formerly Chief Examiner for Regulations and Compliance, for the Securities Industry Examination of the Stock Exchange.
