Media Reviews
I greatly enjoyed reviewing this, overall I would definitely wish to encourage you to pursue what appears to be a potentially good resource. Senior OCR examiner I really like the layout and the easy to understand descriptions of the studies. The side features are incredibly useful for developing terminology and understanding. OCR teacher I really like the layout and features - especially the questions/answers so that students can see the difference between a good response and an 'average/poor' response. OCR teacher I'm really excited about the book coming out and especially love the PI section and the way the research methods activities refer back to the core studies. This is so helpful for teaching these alongside each other. Psychology tutor I feel that as a teacher who is a psychology specialist, I can really appreciate all that is contained. It is impressively written and I have no doubt teachers will want a copy with such impressive coverage. Reviewer At last - an exciting new publication covering OCR AS Psychology that teachers and students alike will enjoy using. The book has a lively student centred approach with activities, interactive links and really useful comments on sample exam answers by real students. The research section in particular is excellent as it makes clear links between the research methods and the 15 Core Studies, making this area of Psychology much more accessible and relevant to students than most other texts. Becky Hawkins, Psychology Tutor, Richard Huish College, Taunton, Somerset It is an excellent book - I really like the student answer section at the end of every study I think the students will find that really useful. I also like the links to the various websites. Sian Izzet, Psychology teacher, Basildon, Essex
