Author Bio

Jane Dorner has written many books on many subjects, including Cortes and the Aztecs (Longman, 1972), People of Elizabethan England (Wayland, 1973), Manual for Fleet Street Editor (Mirrorsoft, 1988), and Writing on Disk (John Taylor Book Ventures, 1992). She has several years' experience of writing for and about the Internet, including her successful The Internet: A Writer's Guide (A & C Black, 2000; 2001). Writing for the Internet goes further, and is the result of personal experiment and discovery. John Seely, the series editor of the One Step Ahead series, is an experienced author and teacher of English who has worked in education at all levels from primary school to university. His publications include The Oxford English Programme, The Oxford Guide to Writing and Speaking, and Everyday Grammar.
