Media Reviews
There's a wide variety of activities, the extracts/examples included are short and appropriate with some quite demanding stuff being handled in an accessible way. I think I would be able to use it immediately as it all seems straightforward. I think there is a good mix of fun tasks and challenging, skills-based activities. I especially like the attention to adult language and I feel this is a really good melding of short word count and appropriate language. Also, I like the attention to explicit terms for literary and linguistic devices. Visually striking. Lots to interest pupils. Just right. Engaging, clear, not distracting. Bright, colourful - will keep motivation. I like this objective format very much. Very clear about what is expected in terms of learning outcome.
