Author Bio

Gwyn Jones was Professor of English Language and Literature at University College, Cardiff. The author of many books including three collections of short stories and A History of the Vikings (1968), he is a translator of The Mabinogion, former editor of The Welsh Review, and the editor of two earlier anthologies of Welsh short stories.
