The aim of this book is to give an understanding of the events of early pregnancy and of the factors that may adversely affect the development of an embryo. The process and causes of miscarriage are explained and advice is given about future pregnancies. It is hoped that when a miscarriage does occur the people involved will be able to cope better if they have some understanding of what is happening.
