Nick Bruel is a cartoonist and writer who lives in New York with his wife and daughter. The lazy, stroppy but ultimately appealing character of Bad Kitty is based on lots of pets he has known and loved. The experience of adopting his beloved one-year-old daughter inspired Bad Kitty Meets the Baby.
