Author Bio
Roald Dahl, born in Wales of Norwegian parents was educated in England before going to work for Shell in Africa. He began to write after a monumental bash on the head , sustained as an RAF pilot in World War II. He won the Whitbread Prize for THE WITCHES. He worked in a hut in his apple orchard in Buckinghamshire until his death in 1990.Quentin Blake is one of the UK's most celebrated artists, renowned for his collaborations with Dahl. He is a visiting professor at the Royal College of Art.
