Author Bio
DAVID HERBERT LAWRENCE was born into a miner's family in Nottinghamshire in 1885. His life was short, but he lived it intensely, and he produced an amazing body of work: novels, stories, poems, plays, travel books and translations, to mention but afew. Amongst his works are The White Peacock, Sons and Lovers, Women in Love, and Lady Chatterley's Lover. He died in 1930, at the age of forty-four.
