Author Bio
Poet, philosopher and artist, Kahlil Gibran was born near Mount Lebanon. His poetry has been translated into more than twenty languages and his drawings and paintings have been exhibited all over the world. He died in New York, where he was the leader of a Lebanese literary circle, in 1931.Robin Waterfield is currently writing a major biography of Kahlil Gibran for Allen Lane/The Penguin Press.
