  This is a collection of over 100 games for grown-ups, ranging from new and unheard-of games to various ways of playing old favourites. The games described require the minimum of props: nothing beyond pencils, paper, playing cards and normal household items. With line drawings, anecdotes, reminiscences and stories, the book aims to be a pleasure to read as well as providing enjoyment through the games themselves. The character and mood of the games is also captured and ratings are given to the relative rowdiness or embarrassment generated in the players.
