Author Bio

About the Authors

Alayna Cohn has been a hostage of the computer world for a number of years. She is an experienced Web, Visual Basic, and ASP Developer. She has designed and nurtured applications from point of database design to full deployment. Many evenings, Alayna moonlights as a contracted Visual Basic instructor for the Clark University Computer Career Institute's Client/Server Program. She is proud to say she has had the pleasure of parasailing of the island of Maui.

John Potter got his first computer when he was eleven, and has been a geek ever since. He is an experienced Web developer and technical trainer, and has taught JavaScript, HTML, and Microsoft Office courses for corporate clients. He has authored articles on subjects ranging from American history to noise control in foundries.

Together, Alayna and John conceived, designed, developed, and maintained the Intranet for Community Newsdealers, Inc. Both of them have developed numerous Web-based applications utilizing such technologies as, HTML, JavaScript, DHTML, VBScript, Visual Basic, Active Server Pages, Access, and SQL Server. The authors who write together, work together as they continue to be co- workers at NewMediary, Inc. NewMediary, Inc. builds and licenses tools that efficiently connect the buyers and sellers of Internet business services.
