Author Bio
Mark Richard was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, in 1955. He went to Washington and Lee Univesity and now lives in New York City. In 1990 he won the Ernest Hemingway Award for a first published book of fiction for The Ice at the Bottom of the World.
