Synopsis

Author Bio
John Prater studied art in Portsmouth and Brighton and worked as a teacher for many years before turning his attention to children's books. His first book, On Friday Something Funny Happened, was shortlisted for the Mother Goose Award in 1982. Prater first got the idea for Baby Bear when he became a granddad. This is the ninth Baby Bear book that he has written and illustrated. John Prater lives in Horndean, Hampshire.
