Bootism: A Shoe Addict's Handbook

by Michael Duranko & Penina Goodman (Author)

Synopsis

Do you forget peoples' names but remember their shoes? Do you often use the words 'love' and 'shoe' in the same sentence? Do you daydream about shoes? If so, you may be a bootist - or have bootist tendencies - and this is the book for you. Containing bootist truths ('Price is not part of the purchasing decision'), bootist mantras ('There is always room for one more pair') and celebrity confessions ('My name is Sarah Jessica and I own well over one hundred pairs of Manolo Blahniks') This funky, quirky book is for everyone who believes you can never be too rich, too thin, or have too many shoes.

Author Bio
Michael Duranko (shoe size 9) lives in Manhattan with his bootist wife Tina. He does not think of himself as a religious leader: he is a simple man with a simple message. He has an affinity for Tod's. His favourite shoes of all time are black on white golf shoes with metal spikes from 1990. Penina Goodman (shoe size 7) lives in Chicago with a shoe collection that is 90% black, housed in shelves specifically designed for it. She and many of her closest friends live the bootist life and she is thrilled to collaborate on providing them with a voice.
