Patrick Humphries is a regular contributor to Radio 2 and broadcaster on Radio 5 and 6Music. A music writer of long standing he contributes to Mojo and Record Collector and has previously written for Melody Maker the NME and Vox. He is also the author of several books, among them the best-selling biographies of Nick Drake (Bloomsbury) and the authorised Richard Thompson (Virgin). He lives in South London.
