Author Bio
Lee Vyborny has been involved with the US Navy submarine force for more than 30 years, serving aboard a fast attack submarine and being chosen as one of the original 12 crew on the NR-1. He was an instructor at the Nuclear Power Training Unit in Windsor, Connecticut, and a navy diver. He later became a design and production engineer at the Electric Boat Division of General Dynamics, and a programme manager for the development and production of navigations equipment at Sperry Marine Systems. Now retired, he lives in Virginia. Don Davis has written 11 books, three of which have become New York Times bestsellers, most recently The Last Man on the Moon with Apollo 17 Commander Gene Cernan. As a news correspondent for 20 years, he covered stories ranging from the Vietnam war to the White House.
