Mark Cotta Vaz is a senior writer for Cinefex magazine. He has written twenty-one books including From Star Wars to Indiana Jones: The Best of the Lucasfilm Archives, Industrial Light and Magic: Into the Digital Realm, and The Invisible Art: The Legends of Movie Matte Painting (with filmmaker Craig Barron), which won the Theatre Library Association Award in 2002 and the United States Institute for Theatre Technology's Golden Pen Award in 2004.
