Slow Loris

Slow Loris

by Alexis Deacon (Author)

Synopsis

Slow Loris lived in a zoo, but he didn't care for it much. Slow Loris wasn't even his real name, but that was what everyone called him. A slow loris is just a type of animal. Slow Loris was a slow loris. He really was very slow. In fact he was so slow it took him ten minutes to walk from one end of his branch of his tree to the other and half an hour to eat a satsuma. Everyone thought that Slow Loris was dead boring, but he didn't care one bit. Why? Because he had a wild, secret life of his own. A simple, witty text and bold, striking artwork full of character and humour make this an exceptional picture book. Alexis Deacon has just graduated from University with a first class honours degree in Illustration. He has remarkable skill as both an author and illustrator and promises great things for the future.
