James Holmes (Atlanta, GA) develops server-side applications for complex transactional environments, such as for the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympic Games (when he was 16!), Checkfree, and IBM. Oracle Magazine awarded Holmes the prestigious Java Developer of the Year in November 2002 for his work with the Struts Framework & Jdeveloper. Holmes was among 17 other developers worldwide in their StarSelect campaign for OracleWorld 2003 (he was recently in San Francisco to be filmed for the event)where he spoke on Java development. James is a committer on the Struts project, meaning he is one of a small number of people that direct the development and future of Struts.
