by Eric Braverman (Author)

Synopsis

In Younger You, Dr. Braverman shows readers how to reverse the age of their oldest part--whether it be a 40-year-old whose bones are more like a 60-year-old's, or a 30 year-old who has the wrinkles of a 50-year-old and look and feel 15 years younger by exploring the integral relationship between the brain, the body, and hormones as we age. Just as women enter menopause when the production of certain hormones decline, every system and organ in our body our skin, hair, heart, immune system--enter pauses and begin to show signs of aging when production of their corresponding hormones decline. Based on his cutting-edge research into these hormones, Dr. Braverman has discovered the vitamins, minerals and nutritional supplements that can reverse these pauses, balance and reinvigorate the hormones of the brain, and quite literally reverse the aging process. After taking an in-depth quiz to pinpoint their problem areas, readers are directed to specific sections of the book that immediately address their most pressing needs, whether it be how their aging skin can look years younger, how their aging heart can be revitalized, or how their brain can function like a 20-year-old's. Then, Dr. Braverman presents the foods to eat, and the vitamins and nutritional supplements to take to make every reader look and feel years younger than they actually are. Even more importantly than looking and feeling young, vital organs like the heart, liver, brain, and lungs will experience the benefits of hormonal balance, so not only will readers look younger, but they will live a longer and healthier life!
