Author Bio
Yanping Xie taught Chinese in the East Asian Department at Columbia University for 9 years. She has written numerous supplementary teaching materials and co-authored A First Reader for Advanced Beginners, to be published by Columbia University Press. She is now an independent contractor and works as a speech and language pathologist in New York City. Duan-Duan Li is a lecturer in the East Asian Department at Columbia University and has taught elementary and intermediate Chinese for the past 7 years. She received her Ed.D. from Teacher's College, Columbia University in applied linguistics and has co-authored A First Reader for Advanced Beginners, to be published by Columbia University Press.
