Jim Field hails from the town of Farnborough (the one with the Airshow). He drew from a very early age with a burning ambition to 'make cartoons' and after studying animation at Hull School of Art and Design, made his way into the industry while also penning his way as a freelance illustrator. He continues to illustrate children's fiction and picture books, and now lives in Paris with his girlfriend and a small, grumpy cat.
